VOGUE CHINA, FEBRUARY ISSUE - DIRS. MARKN & OLIVER, PRODUCER CAMILLA BELLAMACINA, 16mm
Photographer/Director Markn and I decided to maximise shoot days and locations over crew and equipment, so I self-shot this with a Standard 16mm Arriflex ST in Lanzarote. Later with Toby Tomkins in the grade we worked with Markn’s medium format stills to borrow elements of his hand prints for our film. We worked with stylist Louise Ford to choreograph model Xie Chaoyu into her environments through all the different looks, and were also lucky to have hairstylist Soichi Inagaki and makeup artist Vassilis Theotokis.
